I grew up in the beautiful state of Oregon. My childhood days were spent creating gadgets with my dad. I loved solving problems from a very young age and knew my creativity would take me far. I came to the University of Cincinnati to play varsity volleyball and attend the design school. After three challenging but wonderful years with the team, I made the decision to pursue my passion for Industrial Design. Saying goodbye to volleyball was one of the toughest things I’ve done, but it has only made me stronger. My life is an example of a dream come true.
With graduation nearing (June 2009), my career goal is to be an Industrial Designer with the passion to design products and experiences that will make a positive contribution to people’s lives, lifestyles and health. I wouldn’t trade the experience I’ve had at the University of Cincinnati for the world.
